Together, the companies will be able to offer standardized solutions and integrations for electronic commerce. The effects for our customers include full traceability in the value chain, less manual work, and less errors and omissions in trade documents.
Digitalization of purchase-to-pay
Digitalisation and automation are largely about reducing or removing tasks that steal time and resources from more value-creating activities. In purchasing, there is unfortunately still a lot of manual, repetitive work that deals with the distribution, receipt and control of trade documents between buyer and seller. The typical trade documents are orders, order confirmations, shipping notes and invoices.
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a mature technology that ensures the transfer of data and documents between trading partners. EDI removes the need for paper or email communication, and enables near-real-time transfer of trade documents between parties' systems. EDI is the foundation for streamlining and simplifying the purchasing process, and the quality of an EDI implementation can make the difference between growth and stagnation for companies that depend on a stable supply chain.
Time-saving solutions
One of the most popular add-on services to Logiq is Document Control. This solution reduces the manual work of following up on errors in incoming trade documents. Logiq Document Control inspects incoming documents before they reach the recipient, and can uncover deviations based on the customer's own rules and needs. Many deviations can be automatically corrected by the algorithms in Document Control, and it is also possible to "hold" the document and give the sender the opportunity to correct the information.
