Some suppliers do not have the capability or capacity to integrate with their customers through EDI. Logiq Loop EDI is a Web EDI portal that allows suppliers to exchange electronic documents with their customers through EDI and electronic invoices without requiring any internal system integration. With Logiq Loop EDI, suppliers can receive electronic orders, and reply with electronic order confirmations, despatch advice messages (shipping notes) and invoices. All through an easy-to-use portal.

How does it work

Loop EDI is a cloud-based Web EDI solution supporting creation and exchange of digital trade documents. The functionality includes:

  • Receive electronic Orders as EDI from customers
  • Create and send Order Response as EDI
  • Create and send Despatch Advice as EDI
  • Create and send Invoice as EDI

Loop EDI makes the process easy by allowing you to “flip” the Order into an Order Response (and then into a Despatch Advice and Invoice). This way, you can save time, while still being able to adjust the documents as needed.

The solution also includes integration with label printers, so that you can print valid labels to be pasted on the pallets.

Stand-alone or partly integrated with existing EDI flow

Some suppliers already have EDI flows that can handle some of the trade messages. For these suppliers, Loop EDI can be a solution for the other messages that they cannot process. For example, an EDI Order can go straight to the suppliers internal systems, while Order Confirmations and Despatch Advice messages can be sent from Loop EDI. In these cases, the supplier will only use the portal for the message types that are not supported by integrated EDI.
